== Government == Chimney Rock Village is governed by a five-member council. Council members serve four-year staggered terms. They are elected at large in non-partisan contests determined by plurality, with the person receiving the highest number of votes elected to the open seats. The council selects a mayor from among its members after each of its own elections.
