==Geography==

US 19 leads north {{convert|27|mi}} to [[Albany, Georgia|Albany]] and southeast {{convert|32|mi}} to [[Thomasville, Georgia|Thomasville]]. State Routes [[Georgia State Route 37|37]] and [[Georgia State Route 112|112]] pass through the center of Camilla as Broad Street. Route 37 leads east {{convert|27|mi}} to [[Moultrie, Georgia|Moultrie]] and northwest {{convert|10|mi|0}} to [[Newton, Georgia|Newton]], while Route 112 leads northeast {{convert|32|mi}} to [[Sylvester, Georgia|Sylvester]] and south {{convert|26|mi}} to [[Cairo, Georgia|Cairo]]. [[Georgia State Route 97|State Route 97]] leads southwest from Camilla {{convert|35|mi}} to [[Bainbridge, Georgia|Bainbridge]].

According to the [[United States Census Bureau]], the city has a total area of {{convert|6.6|sqmi}}, of which {{convert|0.01|sqmi|2}}, or 0.20%, are water.<ref name="CenPopGazetteer2022"/>

The climate in this area is characterized by hot, humid summers and generally mild to cool winters.
