==Marriage and children== ===Engagement to Claus=== On 28 June 1965, the engagement of Princess Beatrix to the German diplomat Claus von Amsberg was announced. Claus and Beatrix had met at the wedding-eve party of Princess Tatjana of [[Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg]] and [[Moritz, Landgrave of Hesse]], in summer 1964.
