===2010 census===
The [[2010 United States census]] counted 496 people, 217 households, and 115 families in the borough. The [[population density]] was 1,887.9 per square mile (728.9/km<sup>2</sup>). There were 365 housing units at an average density of 1,389.3 per square mile (536.4/km<sup>2</sup>). The racial makeup was 94.76% (470) [[White (U.S. census)|White]], 1.01% (5) [[Black (U.S. census)|Black or African American]], 0.00% (0) [[Native American (U.S. census)|Native American]], 1.01% (5) [[Asian (U.S. census)|Asian]], 0.00% (0) [[Pacific Islander (U.S. census)|Pacific Islander]], 1.41% (7) from [[Race and ethnicity in the United States census#Race|other races]], and 1.81% (9) from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. census)|Hispanic or Latino]] of any race were 4.44% (22) of the population.<ref name=Census2010/>

Of the 217 households, 16.1% had children under the age of 18; 44.2% were married couples living together; 6.0% had a female householder with no husband present and 47.0% were non-families. Of all households, 37.3% were made up of individuals and 12.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.29 and the average family size was 3.11.<ref name=Census2010/>

15.3% of the population were under the age of 18, 9.1% from 18 to 24, 23.4% from 25 to 44, 32.5% from 45 to 64, and 19.8% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 47.2 years. For every 100 females, the population had 105.8 males. For every 100 females ages 18 and older there were 103.9 males.<ref name=Census2010/>

As of the [[2000 United States census]]<ref name="GR2" /> there were 718 people, 285 households, and 188 families residing in the borough. The racial makeup of the borough was 97.35% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.84% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.28% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.42% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 0.14% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 0.97% from two or more races. In the borough the population was spread out, with 28.9% under the age of 18, 5.7% from 18 to 24, 28.8% from 25 to 44, 27.9% from 45 to 64, and 18.7% who were 65 years of age or older.
