Principal village: Norridgewock (Naridgewalk, Neridgewok, Noronjawoke); other villages: Amaseconti (Amesokanti, Anmissoukanti), Kennebec, and Sagadahoc. * ''[[Penobscot]]'' (also ''Panawahpskek'', ''Pamnaouamske'', ''Pentagouet''), lived in the [[Penobscot River|Penobscot Valley]].
