* [[July 8]] &ndash; In Italy, [[Francesco I Pico]], Lord of [[Duchy of Mirandola|Mirandola]], is captured at Baggiovara by Guelph rebels in [[Bologna]], while on his way home to Mirandola after being invested by the [[Henry VII, Holy Roman Emperor|Holy Roman Emperor, Henry VII]] as imperial vicar. Pico is imprisoned for the next nine months before being released to resume his Lordship.
