Ponds Forge is also the home of Sheffield City Swimming Club, a local swimming club competing in the [[Speedo]] league. The one point in the [[King of the Mountains]] competition was claimed by [[Chris Froome]] of [[Team Sky]]. The climb was just {{cvt|0.8|km|mi|1}} long at an average gradient of 10.8%. It is the host to the yearly EIHA Conference Tournament, EIHA Nationals, and Sheffield Junior Tournament.
