====Ethiopia and Eritrea==== {{further|Ethiopian art|Lalibela Cross}} The creation of sculptures in Ethiopia and [[Eritrea]] can be traced back to its ancient past with the kingdoms of [[Dʿmt]] and [[Kingdom of Aksum|Aksum]].
