Lawrence Transit provides fare-free public transit to the city of Lawrence through a partnership with the University of Kansas. Also available through KU is "SafeRide", which is a free transportation service for Lawrence college students at KU and Haskell Indian Nations University for night time transportation to the passenger's home.
