[[Amtrak]] provides service to [[Redding station (California)|Redding station]], operating its ''[[Coast Starlight]]'' daily in both directions between [[Seattle|Seattle, Washington]], and [[Union Station (Los Angeles)|Los Angeles, California]] via [[Portland, Oregon]]; [[Sacramento, California]]; [[Oakland, California]]; [[San Jose, California]]; [[Santa Barbara, California]] and all Intermediate station stops.
[[Amtrak Thruway]] also provides twice daily service to [[San Joaquin Street station|Stockton]] or [[Sacramento Valley Station|Sacramento]] for connections to the ''[[San Joaquins]]'', which serve the [[San Francisco Bay Area]], [[San Joaquin Valley]] and the [[Los Angeles]] area via bus connections.

Redding's municipal bus transportation system is called RABA ([[Redding Area Bus Authority]]). RABA serves routes throughout the City of Redding and also provides transportation to/from Redding's suburbs.
