== In popular culture == In the second season of the television series Peaky Blinders, there is a scene in which Arthur Shelby is invited to celebrate the Passover Seder at the home of Alfie Solomons as part of a truce negotiation. The depiction of the Seder contains several inaccuracies, such as the presence of leavened bread (chametz) on the table, which is strictly forbidden during Passover. Additionally, Solomons is shown slaughtering a goat and claiming this is a Jewish tradition. In reality, Jewish practice involved the ritual slaughter of a lamb (not a goat), and this was performed exclusively at the Temple in Jerusalem - not in private homes . The film Uncut Gems by Josh and Benny Safdie, starring Adam Sandler, features a scene depicting a typical American Passover Seder.
