===First overall pick in college drafts===
Of the four first overall draft picks in its history, only 1984 top pick [[Mike Rozier]] actually played in the USFL. [[Dan Marino]] and [[Jerry Rice]] chose to play in the NFL, where they were also picked in the first round by the [[Miami Dolphins]] and [[San Francisco 49ers]], respectively, and each went on to have Hall of Fame careers. The USFL ceased operations soon after the 1986 draft, so [[Mike Haight]] never signed with nor played in the league, instead being drafted by the NFL's [[New York Jets]].
