* [[Extremely Large Telescope#Instrumentation|ANDES]] – The ArmazoNes High Dispersion Echelle Spectrograph, a planet finding and planet characterisation spectrograph, is expected to be fitted onto [[Extremely Large Telescope|ESO's ELT 39.3m telescope]]. ANDES was formally known as HIRES, which itself was created after a merger of the consortia behind the earlier CODEX (optical high-resolution) and SIMPLE (near-infrared high-resolution) spectrograph concepts.
