Rahway is served by [[U.S. Route 1/9]], [[New Jersey Route 27|Route 27]], and [[New Jersey Route 35|Route 35]]. The city is sandwiched between the [[Garden State Parkway]] and the [[New Jersey Turnpike]], which are each located about two miles outside of the city limits.
