Mainz offers a wide array of bicycle transportation facilities and events, including several miles of on-street bike lanes. The [[EV15 The Rhine Cycle Route|Rheinradweg]] (Rhine Cycle Route) is an international cycle route, running from the source to the mouth of the Rhine, traversing four countries at a distance of {{cvt|1300|km|mi}}.
