====Boxing==== {{Main|Boxing in Ireland}} Amateur boxing on the island of Ireland is governed by the [[Irish Athletic Boxing Association]]. Ireland has won more medals in boxing than in any other Olympic sport. [[Michael Carruth]] won a gold medal and [[Wayne McCullough]] won a silver medal in the [[1992 Summer Olympics|Barcelona Olympic Games]].
