==Popular culture== ===Studios=== In the early 20th century, New Rochelle was home to one of the first movie studios in the country, Edwin Thanhouser's [[Thanhouser Film Corporation]]. Originally located on the corner of Warren and Grove Street, the company moved to Main Street near Echo Avenue after a devastating fire in 1913.
