Musical performances are organized in cultural venues. Music is a part of the traditional aspect of Kathmandu. [[Gunla]] is the traditional music festival according to [[Nepal Sambat]]. Newar music originated in Kathmandu. Furthermore, music from all over Nepal can be found in Kathmandu.
