==Transportation== The major Interstate serving Boise is [[Interstate 84 in Idaho|I-84]], which connects Boise with [[Portland, Oregon]], and [[Salt Lake City, Utah]]. In addition, residents in the Boise area are served with [[Interstate 184]] (locally known as "The Connector"), a nearly {{convert|5|mi|km|0|adj=on}} stretch of freeway connecting I-84 with the downtown Boise area. Highway 55 branches outward northeast. There is a network of [[bike path]]s, such as the Boise River Greenbelt, throughout the city and surrounding region.
