India is considered to be home to a large Zoroastrian population – the descendants of migrants from Iran and today known as the [[Parsi]]s. In India's 2001 census, the Parsi population numbered at 69,601, representing about 0.006% of the total population of India, with a concentration in and around the city of [[Mumbai]].
