===Rail=== Passenger rail service previously operated by [[Via Rail]] provided a single daily return trip along between [[Victoria β Courtenay train|Victoria β Courtenay]], along the eastern coast of Vancouver Island, to the cities of [[Nanaimo]], [[Courtenay, British Columbia|Courtenay]], and points between.
