===Twin towns – sister cities===

Jakarta signed [[sister city]] agreements with other cities, including [[Casablanca]]. To promote friendship between the two cities, the main avenue famous for its shopping and business centres was named after Jakarta's Moroccan sister city. No street in [[Casablanca]] is named after Jakarta.
