As of 2021, Ashgabat has two mobile phone service providers:
* [[Altyn Asyr (mobile operator)|Altyn Asyr]] is a Turkmen national state company for the provision of communication services, established in 2004. In 2010, the company launched a 3G network of UMTS standard, covering all districts of Ashgabat and the Ashgabat International Airport .
