===Pur Detox suicide attempt===
In September 2012, Pur Detox, a Narconon offshoot, was sued in [[Orange County, California]], for negligence, [[medical malpractice]], and negligent supervision. William Sweeney, the plaintiff, "suffered severe personal injuries" after a suicide attempt, jumping from a third floor balcony at the clinic, in [[Dana Point, California|Dana Point]].
