===Roads===

The [[A82 road|A82]] connects Glasgow to [[Argyll and Bute|Argyll]] and the western [[Scottish Highlands|Highlands]]. The [[A74(M) and M74 motorways|M74]] runs directly south towards [[Carlisle, Cumbria|Carlisle]].

Other strategic roads in the city include the [[Glasgow East End Regeneration Route|East End Regeneration Route]], which provides easier access to areas of the East End, linking the M8 to the extended M74.
