[[Inter-city rail]] passenger rail service is provided by [[Via Rail]]'s premier train, the [[Canadian (train)|''Canadian'']], as it travels between Vancouver, British Columbia, and [[Toronto]], Ontario. Passenger trains stop at the [[Edmonton railway station (Via Rail)|Edmonton railway station]] two days a week in both directions.
