The Pan-Borneo Highway, which connects Sabah and Sarawak on Borneo Island of East Malaysia, is undergoing a major upgrade to dual carriageway since 2015. A total of 1663 km of the road length is being reconstructed, bringing the standard of East Malaysian highways to the same level of quality of Peninsular highways.
