In 2001, the ethnic composition of Ukraine was: [[Ukrainians|Ukrainian]] 77.8%, [[Russians in Ukraine|Russian]] 17.3%, [[Romanians in Ukraine|Romanian]] 1.1% (including [[Moldovans in Ukraine|Moldovan]] 0.8%), [[Belarusians in Ukraine|Belarusian]] 0.6%, [[Crimean Tatars|Crimean Tatar]] 0.5%, [[Bulgarians in Ukraine|Bulgarian]] 0.4%, [[Hungarian people|Hungarian]] 0.3%, [[Polish people|Polish]] 0.3%, [[Jews|Jewish]] 1.0%, [[Pontic Greeks|Pontic Greek]] 0.2% and other 1.6% (including [[Armenians]], [[Germans]], [[Romani people|Romas]], [[Georgians]], [[Slovaks]], [[Albanians]], [[Crimean Karaites]], as well as [[Muslim Bulgarians]], otherwise known as [[Torbeši|Torbesh]], and a microcosm of [[Swedes]] of [[Gammalsvenskby]]).<ref name=census/> It is also estimated that there are about 49,817 ethnic [[Koreans]] (0.12%) in Ukraine that belong to the [[Koryo-saram]] group.
