The city has three [[international airports]]: [[Warsaw Chopin Airport]], located just {{convert|10|km|mi}} from the city centre,  [[Warsaw Radom Airport|Warsaw-Radom Airport]], located just {{convert|90|km|mi}} south of Warsaw, which serves mainly low-cost and charter operations and finally [[Modlin Airport|Warsaw-Modlin Airport]], located {{convert|35|km|mi}} to the north, opened in July 2012. [[Warsaw Chopin Airport]] is the [[List of the busiest airports in Poland|busiest airport]] in Poland a with 21.3 million passengers in 2024 handling approximately 40% of the country's total air passenger traffic. The airport is a central hub for [[LOT Polish Airlines]] as well as a base for [[Enter Air]] and [[Wizz Air]]. There are 50 air operations performed at the airport per hour.
