Fort Wayne hosts [[satellite campus|regional campus]]es affiliated with both of Indiana's major [[state university system]]s. [[Indiana University Fort Wayne]] (IU Fort Wayne) and [[Purdue University Fort Wayne]] (PFW) were established in 2018 following the dissolution of their predecessor institution, [[Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne]] (IPFW). IPFW's degree programs in health sciences were transferred to IU Fort Wayne; as such, that institution is now home to the Fort Wayne Center for Medical Education, a branch of the [[Indiana University School of Medicine]]. Three [[private universities]] are based in Fort Wayne. [[Concordia Theological Seminary]] is a [[seminary]] affiliated with the [[Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod]]. Established in 1846, it is the oldest higher education institution in the city. [[Indiana Institute of Technology|Indiana Tech]], founded in 1930, has a full-time enrollment of about 3,900 students.<ref name=Carnes>{{cite web |last=Carnes |first=Terry |title=Largest Indiana Colleges and Universities |url=https://www.ibj.com/data?/d/120/largest-indiana-colleges-and-universities |date=October 31, 2023 |work=[[Indianapolis Business Journal]] |access-date=April 24, 2024}}</ref> In 1890, the [[Sisters of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration]] established the [[University of Saint Francis (Indiana)|University of Saint Francis]], later relocating the [[Catholic]] institution to Fort Wayne in 1944. In 2023, it had a full-time enrollment of about 1,700 students.<ref name=Carnes/> Several private institutions operate branch campuses in the city, including the [[College of Biblical Studies]], [[Huntington University (United States)|Huntington University]], [[Indiana Wesleyan University]], [[Manchester University (Indiana)|Manchester University]], and [[Trine University]].
