One of the most common [[food allergy|food allergies]] in infants is to cow's milk. This is an immunologically mediated [[adverse reaction]], rarely fatal, to one or more cow's milk proteins.<ref>{{Cite journal |author=Høst A |title=Cow's milk protein allergy and intolerance in infancy.
