Public lectures hosted by the LSE Events office, are open to students, alumni and the general public. As well as leading academics and commentators, speakers frequently include prominent national and international figures such as ambassadors, CEOs, [[Member of Parliament (United Kingdom)|Members of Parliament]], and heads of state. There are also a number of annual lecture series hosted by various departments.
