The painful [[Bee sting|stings of bees]] are mostly associated with the poison gland and the [[Dufour's gland]] which are abdominal exocrine glands containing various chemicals. In ''[[Lasioglossum leucozonium]]'', the Dufour's Gland mostly contains [[octadecanolide]] as well as some [[eicosanolide]].
