The location of this pirate treasure was said to be on the southern banks of the [[Rahway River]] at a spot called Price's or Post's Woods, said to be midway between Rahway and the [[Arthur Kill]]. The murder and burial of treasure was witnessed secretly from a tree, allegedly, by a [[Lenape]] chieftain known as Ra-wa-rah who is the namesake of the city of Rahway.
