There are numerous semi pro, university and amateur sports teams, for example, The [[Halifax Mooseheads]], 2013 [[Canadian Hockey League|Canadian Hockey League Memorial Cup Champions]], and the [[Cape Breton Eagles]], both of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
