====Series F==== In September 2006, the gradual introduction of a new family of banknotes (known as Series F or Type-F) was announced. The 50-peso denomination was launched in November 2006.<ref name=50F/> The 20-peso note was launched in August 2007.<ref name=20F/> The 1,000-peso note was launched in March 2008.<ref name=1000F/> The $200 was issued in 2008,<ref name=200F/> and the $100 and $500 notes were released in August 2010.<ref name=100F/><ref name=500F/> In Series F, the 20 and 50-peso notes are printed on polymer and include clear windows; all denominations include a color-shifting element. For 100-peso notes and greater, a 3D/dynamic thread is included;<ref name=F-G-security>{{cite web |url=https://www.banxico.org.mx/banknotes-and-coins/d/%7B22A8A98C-D494-18A1-5E2A-C2BBF2EBF92A%7D.pdf |title=Summary of security features in banknotes belonging to Types F and G |publisher=Banco de México |date=October 2021 |access-date=29 April 2022 |archive-date=29 April 2022 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20220429155848/https://www.banxico.org.mx/banknotes-and-coins/d/%7B22A8A98C-D494-18A1-5E2A-C2BBF2EBF92A%7D.pdf |url-status=live }}</ref> this thread has holographic images of snails which shift orthogonally relative to the motion of the note, so they will move side to side if the bill is moved up and down, for instance.<ref>{{cite web |url=https://www.banxico.org.mx/banknotes-and-coins/3d-thread-security-banco-mexi.html |title=3D-thread |publisher=Banco de México |access-date=29 April 2022 |archive-date=29 April 2022 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20220429155847/https://www.banxico.org.mx/banknotes-and-coins/3d-thread-security-banco-mexi.html |url-status=live }}</ref> Series F included the tactile patterns created by [[intaglio printing]] from Series D to distinguish denominations starting at 100 pesos; the 20 and 50-peso notes had the value embossed directly in the clear windows.<ref name=tactile-features/> In addition, Series F denominations are distinguishable by length. Each denomination is longer than the lower by {{cvt|7|mm}}, and a plastic clipboard was distributed free of charge starting in November 2012, which included raised measurement marks and Braille characters to assist the visually impaired.<ref name=banknote-clipboard>{{cite web |url=https://www.banxico.org.mx/services/banknote-clipboard-visually-i.html |title=Banknote clipboard for blind and visually impaired people |publisher=Banco de México |access-date=28 April 2022 |archive-date=28 April 2022 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20220428162949/https://www.banxico.org.mx/services/banknote-clipboard-visually-i.html |url-status=live }}</ref> A revised $50 note, with improved security features, was released on May 6, 2013, and is known as Type F1.<ref name=50F1/><ref>[http://banknotenews.com/files/cfca028bd25485d370c17c033388b37a-2570.php Mexico new 50-peso note reported] {{Webarchive|url=https://web.archive.org/web/20130607051920/http://www.banknotenews.com/files/cfca028bd25485d370c17c033388b37a-2570.php |date=2013-06-07 }} BanknoteNews.com.
