==Electricity supply==
There is a small power station comprising three [[Cummins (corporation)|Cummins]] B and C series [[diesel engine]]s, offering an approximately 150 kVA 3-phase supply to most of the island buildings. Waste heat from the engine jackets is [[cogeneration|used for a district heating]] pipe.
