=== Palestinian violence against settlers ===
Israeli civilians<ref name="hrw1" /> living in settlements have been targeted by violence from armed Palestinian groups. Fatal attacks on settlers have included [[List of Palestinian rocket attacks on Israel, 2002–2006#2004|firing of rockets and mortars]] and [[drive-by shooting]]s, also targeting infants and children.
