Imperial County is at the junction of one interstate, and three state highways. Radiating to the east and west are connections to the [[Arizona Sun Corridor]] and [[San Diego-Tijuana metropolitan area]] via [[Interstate 8]], [[Blythe, California|Blythe]], and northern [[San Diego County]] via [[California State Route 78|State Route 78]], the [[Mexicali Valley]] via [[California State Route 111|State Route 111]], and the [[Coachella Valley]], [[Inland Empire (California)|Inland Empire]], and [[Los Angeles metropolitan area]] via [[California State Route 86|State Route 86]].

Imperial County is served by [[Greyhound Lines]] and [[Imperial Valley Transit]] buses.
