===United States=== In the United States in 2015, approximately 166,039 people were living with brain or other central nervous system tumors. Deaths as a result of brain cancer were 5.3 per 100 000 for males, and 3.6 per 100 000 for females, making brain cancer the 10th leading cause of cancer death in the United States.
