== City Council ==
The '''Bitola Municipality Council''' ({{langx|mk|Совет на Општина Битола}}) is the [[city council|governing body]] of the city and municipality of Bitola. The city council approves and rejects projects that would have place inside the municipality given by its members and the Mayor of Bitola. The Council consists of elected representatives. The number of members of the council is determined according to the number of residents in the community and can not be fewer than nine nor more than 33. Currently the council is composed of 31 [[councillor]]s. Council members are elected for a term of four years.
