Many larger stores have an on-site pharmacy. In July 2020, the company started an in-store virtual [[general practitioner]] service in partnership with health tech company Medicspot. It is to be launched at the Asda Supercentre in [[Stevenage]].  Real-time diagnostics – a connected stethoscope, pulse oximeter, blood pressure monitor, contactless thermometer, and a close inspection camera – will be available in the pharmacy and patients can consult a GP remotely without the need to book an appointment in advance.
