The racial makeup of the town was 76.1% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.40% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.1% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 22.6% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]] (10.7% [[Asian Indian|Indian]], 8.2% [[Chinese American|Chinese]], 1.6% [[Korean American|Korean]], 0.3% [[Cambodian American|Cambodian]], 0.2% [[Vietnamese American|Vietnamese]], 0.2% [[Japanese American|Japanese]], 0.1% [[Filipino American|Filipino]], 0.1% [[Pakistani American|Pakistani]], 0.1% [[Bangladeshi American|Bangladeshi]]), 0.0% [[Pacific Islander (U.S. Census)|Pacific Islander]], 0.30% from [[Race (U.S. Census)|other races]], and 1.5% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 1.5% of the population.

The average household size was 2.93 and the average family size was 3.27.

In the town, the population was spread out, with 31.8% under the age of 18, 4.2% from 18 to 24, 32.8% from 25 to 44, 23.9% from 45 to 64, and 7.2% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 37 years. For every 100 females, there were 99.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 95.4 males.
