==Geography==

It is crossed by [[U.S. Route 1 in Maine|U.S. Route 1]] and state routes [[Maine State Route 90|90]], [[Maine State Route 131|131]] and [[Maine State Route 235|235]]. It borders the towns of [[Union, Maine|Union]] to the north, [[Rockport, Maine|Rockport]] to the northeast, [[Rockland, Maine|Rockland]] to the east, [[Thomaston, Maine|Thomaston]] to the southeast, [[Cushing, Maine|Cushing]] to the south, [[Friendship, Maine|Friendship]] to the southwest, and [[Waldoboro, Maine|Waldoboro]] to the west.
