=== Wales era === After Littler disbanded the short-lived Photons, he moved to [[Cardiff]], Wales, in October 1978, where he formed a band, the White Boys, but changed their name to the Spitfire Boys, as pressure by a financer of the band, who thought the name would sell better.<ref name="auto">{{Cite web|url=http://www.punk77.co.uk/groups/spitfireboysdisc.htm|title=The Spitfire Boys β Discography|website=Punk77.co.uk|accessdate=2020-05-25}}</ref> That time, the line-up was formed by Littler (as David Francis) on vocals and guitar, and former Nylonz members Peter Millman on guitar, Kurt Prasser on bass and Chris Brazier on drums.<ref name="auto"/><ref>{{Cite web |url=http://www.link2wales.co.uk/South/N.htm |title=Link2Wales: South Wales: N β Nylonz |access-date=2 February 2009 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20081028181622/http://www.link2wales.co.uk/South/N.htm |archive-date=28 October 2008 |url-status=dead }}</ref> That alineation recorded and released the 7" single, "[[Funtime (The Spitfire Boys song)|Funtime]]" in 1979. In October 1979, the band moved to London, where they recorded some demos with RKO Records.
