==Geography== According to the [[United States Census Bureau]], the township had a total area of 0.1 square miles (0.26 km<sup>2</sup>), all of which was land.<ref name=CensusArea/><ref name=GR1 /> Covering about {{convert|1000|sqmi}} when it was established in 1693, a total of 74 municipalities have been established from its original territory, leaving Shrewsbury Township as the state's smallest municipality.<ref>Astudillo, Carla.
