As of the census of 2020, there were 14,117 people living in the city, for a population density of 1,439.34 people per square mile (555.73/km<sup>2</sup>). There were 6,628 housing units. The racial makeup of the city was 79.7% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 8.7% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.2% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 4.0% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 0.3% [[Race (U.S. Census)|Pacific Islander]], 4.1% from [[Race (U.S. Census)|other races]], and 3.0% from two or more races. The racial makeup of the city was 88.74% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 4.82% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.12% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 3.80% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 0.02% [[Pacific Islander (U.S. Census)|Pacific Islander]], 0.96% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 1.54% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 2.30% of the population.
