He achieved prominence at the [[Royal Shakespeare Company]] (RSC).<ref name="actors" /> Fiennes first worked on screen in 1990 when he starred as [[T. E. Lawrence]] in the British television film ''[[A Dangerous Man: Lawrence After Arabia]]''.
