===Development===
The main premise for ''Quantum Leap'' was inspired by such movies as ''[[Here Comes Mr. Jordan]]'' (1941) and ''[[Heaven Can Wait (1978 film)|Heaven Can Wait]]'' (1978), as well as the 1960s TV show, ''[[The Time Tunnel]]''.
