In 1926, a [[Bust (sculpture)|bust]] was erected in Pichichi's honour at the San Mamés Stadium. In 1953, Spanish sports newspaper ''[[Marca (newspaper)|Diario Marca]]'' introduced the [[Pichichi Trophy]] in his honour.
